THE POWDER COATING PROCESS CONSISTS OF 3 STEPS:
1. SandBlasting
Steel Sandblasting cleans any contaminants from metal surfaces before the powder coating is processed. The setup usually consists of three different parts: the abrasive itself, an air compressor, and a blaster nozzle. Our powerful Sandblasting Room force removes all deteriorated paint, rust, and any other surface contaminants on the metal before initiating the powder coating process.

2. Powder Coating Application
Powder Coating is applied as free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike liquid paint, powder coating contains no solvent or volatile organic compound (VOC ) emissions during the application. This ensures environmental controls and a professional job done. No liquid carrier is needed therefore it can produce thicker coatings without any running or sagging. After the powder application is done, then the metal is send to the Powder Coating Oven, where the color of your choice is being cured at a approximate 450 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.

3. Curing
The curing process takes place in a convection oven. The oven is set up to approximately 450 degrees. The whole item that is being cured must be hot enough to cause the part's surface to dry, or, the powder coat to cure. Your part is fresh out of the oven, looking restored, refinished and good as new. Once dry, the ending results are very professional, powder coating is resistant to cracks, peeling, and rusting.
